Start up Saturday, which is being run by the small business support company Enterprise Nation, aims to help you turn a passion, hobby or skill into a way of making a living.
Emma Jones, Enterprise Nation founder and StartUp Britain co-founder, has announced details of a seven-date UK tour with StartUp Saturday visiting Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Belfast, Edinburgh, Newcastle and London.
StartUp Saturday offers would-be entrepreneurs and companies within their first two years of trading all they need to know on starting a business; from making sales to creating a website, managing finances and raising profile. Emma todl us “We are hoping to play sell-out gigs to tomorrow’s business owners – people who want to take their passion, hobby, skill or who have spotted a gap in the market and want to know how to turn it into a great business in a day“.
The StartUp Saturday tour is being supported by the British Library and IP Centre, with five of the events to be hosted at their regional libraries and a finale event in London as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week. Ticket price for the event is £30 and every guest receives a copy of the 2013 StartUp Kit (valued at £12.99).
