As a new marketplace it’s always tough to grow both buyers and sellers. Sellers will happily list anywhere that buyers are spending money, but it’s tough to get buyers without having the stock available.
We recently wrote about Bubbles joint marketing funds available to sellers running approved campaigns which promote one or more of a retailers’ products (or their Bubbles shop) as listed on lookupbubbles.com. We’ve now got some more news on the initiatives Bubbles are running.
Win Your Quest
To attract buyers, Bubbles are running a weekly competition to “Win your Quest”. Every week 3 people on Bubbles will win their quest and one very lucky shopper will win a £200 shopping spree. Each week’s draw will be made on the Wednesday the week following and will cover one quest to the value of £1 – £24 a second in the £25 – £49 range and a third quest with a value between £50 – £100.
Recent prizes awarded came from Day2DayShop, FreddieAndCinnamon and StationeryMegastore who were already listing products on the Bubbles marketplace.
Partnerships
Bubbles are also building partnerships and have already joined up with iwoca to provide short term finance to merchants and Dalepak for fulfilment services- Any merchants using Dalepak will be able to easily fulfil orders from Bubbles. Bubbles already have an integration with eSellerPro to make listing for eSellerPro clients quick and easy.
Whilst these two partnerships aren’t going to make a big difference for sellers that don’t use these services, it’s great to see Bubble proactive in getting their name around and building links within the ecommerce community.
