eBay have announced Stefan Enholm as their new Human Resources Director for eBay UK Marketplaces.
Up until earlier this year Stefan was VP of HR at Spotify, the music streaming service. He was led Human Resources at Spotify seeing employees expand from 100 to around 1,000 during his three years at the company.
I’ve often heard eBay sellers think they could do a better job of running eBay than those that work there, but believe me after many a conversation with my esteemed colleague Dan it’s not as easy and carefree a career as you might think – Dan should know, he worked for eBay and was in at the start when they started out in the UK. If you do fancy a shot at a career at eBay there are always plenty of positions open and it might be Stefan that ends up interviewing you.
Aileen O’Toole, VP of HR at eBay Marketplaces Europe, said “We’ll see more change in commerce this decade than in the previous 100 years, so it’s vital that we have the right people to drive this revolution.
