The 11th of June 2013 saw the first ever eBay Motors Awards being distributed at an exclusive ceremony held in Canary Wharf, London.
The event that will hopefully mark the beginning of a long-standing tradition, was organised by eBay and sponsored by E-Motive. It celebrated the remarkable achievements of automotive companies in the e-commerce landscape. The biggest names in the automotive industry such as BMW, Vauxhall, Renault, Mont Blanc, and many others were represented as nominees for the prestigious awards.
Towequipe win Aftermarket Parts & Accessories eBay Store of the Year
, E-Motive’s first client was nominated and won the award for the Aftermarket Parts & Accessories eBay Store of the Year.
The award was presented by Allistair Carmicheal from eBay to the director of Towequipe Jayne Burden. Andrew Rowson, director of the E-Motive Group had the honour to present the OEM Parts & Accessories eBay Store of the Year award to the prestigious winner BMW Group UK.
Towequipe are a long standing eSellerPro customer and they were quick to add their congratulations. “This would not be possible without the hard work of all the team both at eSellerPro and Towequipe so well done!” Jayne told us. “The judges not only liked the store design but were equally bowled over by how Towequipe utilise all the available features on eBay and were suitably impressed by Towequipe‘s commitment to customer service”.

The Evening
The event started with a drinks reception accompanied by live music. After the first three winners had been announced, a formal three-course dinner was served, following which three more awards were presented to the most deserving nominees. Once the formal part of the evening had been concluded and the winners had been congratulated, all guests had a chance to interact in a less formal environment at an after party overlooking the lights of Canary Wharf.

Thanks for sharing. There are some really nice stores out there. I didn’t even know ebay had these awards. Being in the motorcycle industry, I was really impressed at the Gost Bikes store out of the UK. I don’t see many USA dealers having such a nice store.
