Web Retailer celebrates 10 years with redesign

No primary category set

Web RetailerAndy Geldman started selling on eBay in 2001 and having a background in software development and soon realised how important management and automation tools are for volume sellers. Originally he considered writing his own software and started researching the marketplace, but was surprised at just how much was already available. Rather than jumping on the bandwagon with another piece of software, there was more value in cataloguing and exploring what was already out there and in 2003 Auction Software Review was born.

The site rebranded to become Web Retailer in February 2013 and this month they’ve just launched a brand new website design. Web Retailer now has:

  • Eight new category pages with profile filtering and searching built-in.
  • New profile pages with a tabbed format making it easy to find reviews as well as related forum discussions and news.
  • An enhanced product compatibility breakdown covering a wide range of marketplaces, fulfillment services and more.
  • A fresh and clean new look throughout the site.

Having worked on a couple of redesigns for Tamebay over the years I know just how much work goes into revamping an existing site and in reality for the last redesign I pretty much left Dan and Tamebay’s Dev Team at WeAreJH to come up with the goods. Huge congratulations to Andy on Web Retailer’s redesign and congratulations on your 10 year anniversary.
