Delivery Conference 2014
We’re aware that most retailers have their heads down and are entrenched firmly in selling mode in the run up to Christmas, but there’s one thing you need to take time to do and that’s book your place for the Delivery Conference 2014. As always it’s free to attend.

Hosted by MetaPack and taking place at the Park Plaza, Westminster, this is the ideal conference to hear about innovations in shipping and deliveries from all of the major couriers and related companies.

Delivery is now a key part of the ecommerce experience, get it right and consumers will love you. Get it wrong and your Amazon feedback or eBay Detailed Seller Ratings will take a dive and you won’t be getting repeat orders to your website.

We’ve written a fair amount about delivery experiences and innovations on Tamebay over the past six months. Click and Collect is, despite reservations, due to explode in 2014. Timed deliveries and text/email notifications are becoming the norm and don’t forget to look out for same day deliveries becoming routine and next day delivery becoming average rather than the gold standard.

The Delivery Conference 2014 will host two streams both with a stellar line up of speakers:

The Online Strategy stream

Focused on how retailers are utilising new channels to strengthen their brand and service offering. Bricks vs clicks, cross-border trade, mobile commerce, the role of data, selling though marketplaces, service expectations and winning customer loyalty – are all hot topics and we will hear from the best in the industry on how to deliver the ultimate omnichannel experience for the customer.
