If you’re in the market for a new Kindle Fire HDX, Amazon’s latest and greatest ebook reader which has now morphed into a tablet, then today’s the day to buy one.
Amazon have slashed £30 off the price of the Kindle Fire HDX range (supposedly for today only), taking the 16GB WiFi version down to £169.00. That is of course if you’re willing to have the version with “Special Offers”, which translated into English means there’ll be a deluge of adverts on your Kindle home screen for the rest of it’s useful life. Pay an extra tenner and at £179.00 you’ll miss out on the fun experience of all those special offers.
It’s a great price though, way cheaper than an iPad mini, although it does tie you to Amazon instead of being tied to Apple which some will dislike and others will see as a bonus.
