Trojan Electronics, who specialise in online ecommerce marketplace services as well as offering returns management and refurbishment, are being celebrated as one of a thousand inspiring SMEs in the UK, as voted for by the London Stock Exchange Group.
You may not know too much about Trojan, but they work with the likes of Tesco and Argos to refurbish and sell their products on marketplaces including eBay. Using software such as eSellerPro, Trojan aim to provide reverse logistics to accept returns, refurbish them and then resell to recoup the best possible price for the retailer.
Trojan’s inclusion in the top 1000 list, published by the London Stock Exchange Group recognises the firm’s commitment to innovation and its ability to help spearhead the growth of the UK economy. Trojan is expecting a significant increase in turnover for the coming financial year, and Clive Murphy, Trojan MD is confident that this growth will result in the creation of a further 100 jobs over the next two years.
Unlike other rankings of fast-growing SMEs, the Top 1000 list focuses on attributes which display best practice for success and growth, not just an indication of market position or short term revenue. The companies are not ranked, but the aim of the 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain report was to identify 1,000 of the most exciting small and medium-sized companies in the UK.
