You can find it and download it here.
The blurb explains the contents of the ebook:
“How much are shoppers influenced by the videos, blogs, infographics and social feeds they see while browsing an e-commerce site? The impact is greater than you might think. A recent survey by UPS shows that social media posts influence the purchase decisions of one-third of all shoppers and one-half of Millennials (2014 “Pulse of the Online Shopper”).
This e-book gives you the inside scoop on how leading retailers succeed in content marketing, including three things you can start doing now to increase conversions.”

The offer is ‘Conditional’ upon providing personal particulars which includes your company name and telephone number. Providing an email address is necessary in order to receive the e-book, but everything else is personal data which has a value and consequently the e-book isn’t free.
I see many promotions such as this one and I would actually like to download and read the e-book and who knows I might choose to follow up with an enquiry with the company, but that should be my choice. I don’t want any follow up sales calls. Customers and potential customer can make their own minds up and I’m simply fed up receiving unsolicited sales calls.
Have faith in your product and make it free without any conditions!
I agree with you Glenn in are of “sales calls”. However, I have taken a lot from free ebooks and free webinars.
It would be good if these eBooks are kept as “Content Marketing” and not bring it to direct sales. At the end of the day, if anyone reads and finds ebook useful, they would ring up and query further anyway.
