PayPal and Braintree have launched Start Tank London, a programme dedicated to supporting UK startups to help drive success and growth for their businesses.
Following great success with Start Tank Boston, the programme has been rolled out to the UK. The startups in Start Tank Boston cover a diverse range of businesses, from recycling and payments tech to social communities and fashion.
Up to five startups will be hosted at the Braintree offices in London for six months. During this time, the startups will receive a range of benefits such as six months of no-cost professional space, infrastructure, coaching, and community plus:
• Access to mentors from PayPal, Braintree and external high-level advisors
• Networking and business opportunities with angel investors and venture capitalists
• Access to the Startup Blueprint, which includes free PayPal and Braintree fees and a dedicated customer care team
At the end of the six-month program, the startups will present their vision and business models at a Demo Day, and PayPal won’t take any equity in the businesses.
