Amazon feed issue on all EU platforms

Amazon BugAmazon are experiencing problems with their feeds, which will likely affect sellers using multi-channel management tools.

Tamebay reader Marcus was kind enough to share an email he got from Amazon which said:

Thank you for contacting Amazon Seller Support.
Further to your email, there is currently an issue across all of the European platforms that is causing delays in the feeds processing. Our engineers are currently working on this to free this up and I would like to apologise for the inconvenience this has caused you.
Once the issue is resolved, there will be a backlog on the system and this can take up to 12 hours to clear, so for now, simply let the feeds be as this will filter through the system once the engineers resolve the issue. I would refrain from uploading any further feeds for now just to ensure that the there is less pressure on the system and the back log does not get built up any further. There would be no point at this stage to cancel them as you would just be put back further on the system in that case, though if you wish to proceed regardless please let me know.
The best thing to do would be to simply allow the issue to clear over the coming hours and you will have no further issue.
If you do find that you feeds are still not processing by this time, please contact us again by opening a new case and we will be more than happy to help.
I hope that the above helps, and I wish you a great day,

Marcus tells us that “It was stopping eSellerPro marking items as “Despatched”, stopped us listing new items and price changes. Although the odd sale was coming through, it was taking a few hours to arrive into eSellerPro”.

The latest news we have via ChannelAdvisor is that the issue has been fixed so hopefully queued feeds will update in the next few hours. In the mean time don’t resubmit feeds as that will just increase the queue length. if you’re worried about overselling quantities in the interim, they can be updated manually in Amazon Seller Central and all should be well by Monday and all new sales coming through should be ready for dispatch as normal.
