eBay UK Seller Release: New fees for business sellers

As part of this August’s Summer seller release for business sellers there are However, they are quite minor and have been announced before. Changes that have been previously announced will come in to affect on August 14th.

We reported these changes last month in greater detail last month.

But in brief:

Updated Reserve Price Fees for auctions
When a seller sets a reserve price for an auction, they currently pay a fee of 3.5% of the reserve price set. eBay will be changing this to 4% with a £150 maximum applied.

Early ended auctions
If a seller ends an auction early after it has been listed for more than 24 hours and buyers have already placed bids, the seller will be charged a fee. This fee is the same as a final value fee, based on the highest bid price when the seller ended the auction.
