eBay Motors driver Colin Turkington has been crowned the 2014 British Touring Car Champion.
Colin and the entire West Surrey Racing Team were at eBay UK’s offices in Richmond to celebrate a fantastic year in the BTCC. eBay Motors’ sponsorship has been a key factor in the success of the team this year and is the culmination of a project that started in 2012.
The BTCC connection has produced great coverage for eBay Motors who swept the entire board of awards this year. As well as Colin winning the Drivers’ Championship, Rob Collard was sixth and Nick Foster came sixteenth which helped the team snag the “BTCC HiQ Teams’ Championship”. Plus Colin got the “BTCC Independent’s Trophy” and the eBay Motors’ team also won the “BTCC Independents Team Trophy”.
The 2015 BTCC kicks off on the 4th-5th April so the team have a few months to prepare to defend their trophies.
