The PayPal UK cycling team rode from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle last Sunday to raise money for The Prince’s Trust. The Trust needs to raise £60m this year to continue its work, helping 58,000 young people in the UK.
‘Palace to Palace’ is The Prince’s Trust largest mass participation fundraising event. Cyclists started their bike ride on The Mall, in front of Buckingham Palace and 45 miles later finished at Windsor Castle. It’s estimated that around 4000 riders took part.
The PayPal team has grown in numbers and this year there were thirty riders (including Cameron McLean, Managing Director, PayPal UK and Rob Skinner and Imogen Howat both from the PayPal PR team), that braved the streets of London and tackled some of the toughest hill climbs on the Surrey border before finishing at the Queen’s permanent residence.
Congratulations to the PayPal team, who we hear had a team ethos of leaving nobody behind and made sure they paced the slowest riders to start and finish as a group.
