eBay UK host live “Power On” sessions covering new initiatives and services that they’re developing to help sellers grow their business on eBay. Using the live webcast as a channel gives sellers the opportunity to ask questions and is in addition to eBay’s communications via email and seller releases.
On Wednesday 22 October, eBay will be hosting a live webcast with Tanya Lawler, eBay’s UK Vice President. Tanya will talk about getting you more buyers for peak season and what eBay are doing to help drive traffic to your listings.
Interviewed by Patrick Munden, the regular Power On webcast host, you’ll learn eBay’s plans for the next few months from new buyer marketing campaigns to the key role of Click & Collect this Christmas.
We already know that eBay are going to focus heavily on Click & Collect this year, they have to to compete with the major high street retailers who will be doing the same. Shoppers are going to want to pick up all their online purchases in as few trips to as few shops or collection points as possible and that’s why eBay’s tie up to Argos is so important to them.
We’ll also be interested to hear what publicity eBay will be doing this year, if there’ll be TV/Radio/Print adverts and what the content of these will be. We don’t know if they’ll reveal anything on the 22nd, but we’ll be listening in to get the low down.
If you want to watch the interview or ask any question then you need to register in advance. The interview will commence at 5pm on Wednesday the 22nd of October.
eBay say that they willl also dedicate time for your questions on these topics.

or is it some executives light bulb moment with tunnel vision that is,forced and insisted upon no matter what
Isn’t the 22nd of October a little late for eBay to tell sellers what they will be doing for Christmas? The Christmas mad season will be well under way by then! It’s started already for us!
