Having won his second Dunlop British Touring Car Championship this season, eBay Motors driver Colin Turkington returned to Belfast City Centre for a homecoming celebration. Check out the rather lovely publicity video below. Turkington and the wife showcase Click & Collect.

The Ulsterman, who registered 8 race wins and 19 podiums en route to the BTCC championship, was visiting the Argos store on William Street for the launch of eBay’s Click & Collect service at Argos there.
Talking about his return to Belfast, Turkington commented: “I have received so much support from back home and it’s such an honour to bring not only the car, but the trophy home to share with everyone who has stuck by me this year.”
“Normally I leave Christmas shopping for my wife and sons until the last minute however this year through eBay’s new service with Argos I have been able to be one step ahead of the game and pick up my purchases whilst out and about. I just hope the boys don’t try to take a sneak peak!”
Marketing schmaltz, yes. But another useful reminder of how eBay’s promotional PR machine this year (which should not be underestimated) is centring around Click & Collect. And as a man with Northern Ireland links myself, all best wishes to Colin and his family next year.

Still waiting for my Click & Collect invite….
Oh the mighty home retail group and there ex player new chief of UK ebay, its like a Libor scandal with no insider Jail terms.
We will rise, and make a new ebay for the UK by sellers and buyers.
I am confused. The car is a BMW its part of the ebay motors team yet the trailer in the car park that looks as if it carried the BMW to Belfast has a Ford Logo on the site.
Is this some security device. After all who would want to ‘nick’ a Ford but if the put a BMW logo on the side of the trailer the car might be ‘nicked’ in minutes.
