Doddle FeatDoddle have announced its latest tranche of shop openings. They will open new stores this week at Southampton, Tonbridge, Woking, Glasgow Central, Chancery Lane and Basingstoke train stations.

In addition Doddle has opened at Westfield Stratford City where it forms part of the concierge services located on the Lower Ground Floor.

Myf Ryan, Marketing Director, UK & Europe, Westfield said: “With the growing popularity of click and collect and shoppers wanting to use click and collect services at convenient locations such as Westfield, we saw an opportunity to respond to shoppers’ needs and ultimately help deliver a seamless experience for customers shopping online and in-store at Westfield London. The Doddle collection point located at concierge on the Lower Ground Floor is part of our broader strategy to deliver digital solutions that enhance the customer shopping experience and drive sales opportunities for our retailers.”

Developments with key retail customers are continuing with T.M. Lewin, the stylish business wear specialist, expecting the imminent completion of a full integration to embed Doddle into its online checkout. This means that customers will be able to access Doddle services directly through the T.M. Lewin website, providing an alternative to its existing click & collect and next day delivery services. Leading online retailer ASOS has also confirmed that it will be offering its customers a free returns service at every Doddle location.

Doddle appointed Sam Shutt as Director of Concessions and Partnerships with a remit to expand the service offeing to universities, airports, shopping centres and major employment campuses such as office buildings and hospitals. He was previously Retail Director at Interserve FM Ltd and founded Thinkbigtoday, an events and hospitality business.

Tim Robinson, CEO at Doddle, said: “It is clear that consumers are looking for a broad range of alternatives rather than one size fits all. By partnering with Doddle, they are providing their customers with another easy and convenient way to collect and return their online shopping where and when they want, normally at no additional cost.”
