Might be useful to someone. Though I wonder how many regular readers of Tamebay DON’T have an PayPal business account. Those who don’t sell on ebay, I suppose.
we pay our ebay fees via paypal does that qualify?
I rarely shop online for gifts other than eBay which often have the very best deals for presents, along with Amazon and DVD retailers like Base.com. Because I spend hugely on eBay, each and every week since 2006, I always use PayPal for eBay transactions and have clicked on the ‘enter now’ button a few times already to enter into the prize draw.
However, I am convinced that the only real way to win anything in this Xmas draw, is if you spend generously on one of their ‘recommended’ retail sites that uses PayPal – eBay might be included in these recommendations, yet don’t see it listed at all in their automated list of recommended online retailers. As I don’t have a spare few hundred to splash out on one single transaction (anywhere online), I doubt that I will even qualify – despite being a long standing and loyal consumer through them.
I get the feeling that this prize draw a little like ‘offer-click’ where you are obliged to part with huge sums of money in order that you receive the prize money – regardless of how large it might be.
I could be very wrong indeed, yet appears this way as all of the recommended online retailers they are wanting you to spend, all outside of my individual budget range – I can’t afford a new car or television for instance. I don’t even know anyone I can buy and send an electronic gift, so not sure how this is going to give me any chance at all of winning anything.
IT WOULD BE NICE TO SEE A LIST OF WINNERS FROM PAYPAL WE ARE INTO THE THIRD WEEK OF NOV BUT WHO.S WON ANY PRIZES AND WHAT SHOP DID THEY GO TO TO BUY BET NOT EBAY
