Christmas letter to SantaRoyal Mail has revealed this year’s top ten most wanted presents, according to children in their letters to Santa.

The top ten most requested toys of 2014
1) Frozen merchandise
2) Lego
3) Bike
4) Scooter
5) Barbie and accessories
6) Tablet
7) Peppa Pig
8) One Direction merchandise
9) Snow Glow Elsa
10) Monster High dolls

Father Christmas’s team of Royal Mail elves, who manage Santa’s mailbag, have carried out the most authoritative survey of children’s wishes. Unlike most toy surveys in the run up to Christmas, the Royal Mail findings come directly from the children themselves.

The results show that the most popular toy is Frozen merchandise, overtaking one of the most traditional, Lego to the top spot this year. Tablets have made a new entry at number 6 with One Direction merchandise falling from second place last year to eighth place in this year’s survey.

If you’re still wondering what your kids for Christmas, at least you now know what they’re likely to want. And more importantly there’s still time to order it online and with 19,000 seasonal workers supporting Royal Mail’s permanent 124,000 postmen and women if you select 1st Class postage there’s still time to get it delivered in time for Christmas!
