myHermes publish Christmas opening times

No primary category set

myHermes have bounced back from their problems last week it seems. With Christmas fast approaching, they’ve published their service schedule for the weeks ahead:

myHermes recommend the following:

“- For ParcelShop collection times pelase contact your local ParcelShop store directly to confirm their opening times over Christmas and the New Year
– 17th December is the last day when a courier collection can be booked for the following day for delivery before Christmas*
– 19th December is the last day that parcels can be dropped at a ParcelShop for delivery before Christmas*
* We will endeavour to deliver parcels collected by these dates before Christmas, however we cannot guarantee it”

  1. Their delivery drivers seem to be a bit under strain at the moment and have not fully recovered from the delays created during the fire (on top of the heavy loads caused by Christmas). I had a delivery today at 18:00 today, two days after the driver received the parcel.

Their distribution network seems to be doing better than the “last mile” pseudo-independent delivery contractors.
