The Apple Store now accepts PayPal

In what could be seen a possible overture to a love affair next year, after eBay and PayPal divorce, the online Apple shop is now accepting PayPal in the UK and US, effective immediately.

So if you’re in the market for an iPad or an Apple computer, you can now pay online using PayPal. Also, if you don’t want to pay up all at once, Apple is also offering the PayPal credit facility which allows you to pay for an item in equal monthly installments over up to 18 months with no interest.

The Apple Store does a shedload of business and is, apparently, the #2 online retailer in the US. So it’s a good bit of business for PayPal to hook into.
