Today BBC 4 You & Yours discussed the performance of couriers this Christmas. They spoke to 10 of the biggest UK courier operations to find out how they were coping with the Christmas rush and if you and your customers are likely to receive your parcels before Christmas.
It’s all good news, couriers appear to have cleared the backlogs and are coping well with none reporting significant problems. Certainly they’re all expecting to get parcels delivered before Christmas, although several admit that there have been delays.

Have the parcels been delivered or have they simply cleared the backlog at the central depot, leaving a large number of parcels with their pseudo-independent local subcontractors.
