PayPal launch Blackberry mobile app

PayPal have launched a new app so that Blackberry users can use PayPal on the go just like Apple and Androide smartphone users. Read PayPal’s blog post about the launch here.

The new BlackBerry app is available to users in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia and it’s expected to launch in more countries soon. It’s compatible with the BlackBerry Q10, BlackBerry Z10, and the new BlackBerry Classic smartphone.

The PayPal blog post on the new app says: “The PayPal app for BlackBerry lets you do things like quickly send and request money, as well as check your balance and see recent activity while on the go. You can locate and redeem offers at participating businesses and check-in to pay at your some of your favorite places that accept PayPal. You can even manage your digital wallet, including the ability to add loyalty cards so you don’t have to carry them around and manage your credit and debit cards from the app.”

The only question they don’t answer is why it took so long.
