There’s under a month to go before the first major conference of 2015. The Delivery Conference takes place on the 3rd of February at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, London.
Delivery happens in ecommerce… sometimes. This past Christmas has shown us just how fragile the industry can be with Yodel suspending collections for three days due to unprecedented volumes and then City Link going bust on Christmas eve.
There are highs though, click and collect has firmly come to ecommerce with even marketplaces getting in on the act. This year practically every high street retailer offered click and collect, eBay’s tie up with Argos has been a rip roaring success and Amazon forged ahead with lockers, collection at Collect Plus stores and even same day pick up in a tie up with Smith News and their Pass my Parcel locations. Royal Mail are offering local Collect and every courier out there are raising their game.
The Delivery Conference is where you’ll find out the latest in the industry with everyone from Ocado’s Sir Stuart Rose, Sir Charles Dunstone, Chairman of Dixons Carphone and of course Robert Willett, Chairman of Metapack who hosts the conference. There are a ton of other speakers too from DPD, Royal Mail, Citysprint, ParcelForce, Canada Post, Collect Plus, Doddle, Inpost, Nightline, Yodel, Collect Plus and myHermes.
Book your place for The Delivery Conference today (it’s free for retailers) and make sure you find either Dan or myself and say hello on the day!
