Dragons’ Den Kelly Hoppen to speak at Catalyst

Kelly HoppenI’ve been looking forward to ChannelAdvisor Catalyst EU this year, which takes place in London on the 23rd of April. Now I’m even more excited as I’ve just found out that Kelly Hoppen, MBE, Designer, Entrepreneur, Author and Dragons’ Den Investor, is one of the keynote speakers.

Chairman of the Board and Co-Founder of ChannelAdvisor, Scot Wingo will also be flying over to the UK for Catalyst and he always has something interesting to say. I look forward to hearing his thoughts on the carving up of the eBay Inc empire which will hopefully come as part of his opening keynote at the conference, as well as (again hopefully) a recap of 2014 and what retailers should expect for the peak season in 2015.

Retailers such as New Look, Claires and Clarkes are lined up to speak and marketplaces will be well represented with speakers from Google, Amazon, Tmall, Trade Me and Rakuten all confirmed so far. This will be a great opportunity to hear from Rakuten and get an update on their plans, as well as find out more about two marketplaces from the other side of the world – Tmall and Trade Me, and find out how UK retailers can get involved selling on their platforms.

If you’re going to Catalyst this year I look forward to seeing you there. If you’re not intending to go, maybe the line up of speakers just announced might help sway you into reconsidering.
