Parcelworks aim to take the pain out of International deliveries, for you and for your customers. They offer an international parcel delivery network for SME retailers and individuals, offering duty managed services worldwide.
The pain points for most retailers are how to get a cost effective delivery. The pain for consumers is when the courier turns up with an unexpected import duty and tax demand before they’ll hand the parcel over. Parcelworks reckon that they’ve solved both problems.
Parcelworks have an inbuilt duty calculation & payment system on their website so that the retailer can pay the costs up front. They also routinely ship to complex destinations such as Russia and Brazil, plus all ‘in Country’ emails are sent to customers in their own language.
With Pay As You Go, Pre-paid and Invoice accounts available for their bespoke shipping platform which offers label printing, manual order entry, csv file upload and API integration. They also have multiple options for shipping parcels including collection or drop off at a parcel shop.
This solution won’t be for everyone, some retailers will already have their own courier arrangements, others who only sell on marketplaces could find it simpler to use features such as eBay’s inbuilt aff_link("https://sellercentre.ebay.co.uk/using-global-shipping-programme","Global Shipping Program","","UK"); ?>. However if you want to open up sales from your own website, or manage your own marketplace shipments then you can find out more about Parcelworks on their website.
