eBay UK have announced revised terms for their Global Shipping Program. Find them here. eBay’s announcement relevant to these changes was made here.

The changes will be become effective immediately for new users of the GSP and come into force for existing users on the 21st March this year.

eBay says the headline changes are:

• Clarifying the passing of risk in an item, the transfer of title especially in the event of items being considered as undeliverable, the handling and use of data under the programme

• Clarifying treatment and display of international returns policy

• Providing more information to sellers about the programme for VAT accounting

• Updating the arrangement for future changes to the sellers terms to align with similar provision in the User Agreement

  1. Ha Ha, looks like GSP isn’t working. What a suprise!

No sup there, order a $20 from the USA and if shipped by GSP then shipping is about $30 which is crazy expensive.

All it does is charge international buyers an inflated shipping amount.

Stupid system and from those I have spoken with it offers no benefit, looses business, and eBay don’t let you leave.

More fool them who signed up (I didn’t)!!

Its almost as dumb as the defect system.

    Long live The Revolution!! 🙂
