Some eBay UK sellers have been invited to participate in a pricing promo on eBay UK that offers 50k free listings, according to reports we’ve had from Tamebay readers.
The details and terms and conditions are here. To find out whether you have been invited to join in, check your My Messages. The sellers who have contacted us say that they haven’t received an email for this one. It’s just in My Messages and it’s opt in. Check out the Ts&Cs for restrictions.
Here’s the basic deal from the eBay blurb: “Create up to 50,000 listing(s) (with a starting price of £0.99 or more), during the promotion period, in an eligible category using the fixed price format on eBay.co.uk and you will not pay an insertion fee per listing (promotional rate) during the promotion period when you actively opt in to the promotion via the RSVP link shown in the marketing communication.”

Wow. How cool is that?
I just wandered into the warehouse and discovered 50,000 individual items I never knew we had. Coincidence or what!
By my reckoning if I list 300 items an hour 24 hours a day for the next 7 days we are good to go, just need to pick up 18 crates of Red Bull.
Thanks eBay.
Strange, we just found 50,000 lines of new stock too, wish we’d located that a couple of years ago.
What sort of a ‘promotion’ is this, does it even apply to auto-relisting GTC listings ?
It’s 18 Chinese listers you need, those guys can list 50,000 an hour
