It would appear that there’s been an error with Amazon’s messaging system where customer enquiries weren’t getting forwarded to sellers.
Messages were held up with a glitch and whilst sellers may have checked their message inboxes regularly, suddenly a day or so later a glut of unanswered messages popped up. Some sellers have also received irate follow ups from buyers demanding to know why they’re being ignored.
Amazon appear to be aware of the issue which started on the 26th and has apparently been resolved. However it’s worth monitoring your Amazon seller metrics as you may have messages which weren’t addressed within Amazon’s 24 hour mandate and could impact your seller performance stats.
