If you’re like me I bet you’re fascinated at what goes on in an Amazon Fulfilment centre. Most of the country has purchased a product from Amazon which comes out of one of their warehouses and many Tamebay readers ship product in bulk for Amazon to pick, pack and ship on their behalf.
Now Amazon is so ubiquitous in modern society that people want to go see what happens for themselves and Amazon are throwing open the doors inviting in the general public for a tour! They say “Come and see the magic that happens after you click ‘buy’ on Amazon”.
Amazon are offering tours on the fourth Tuesday of every month with the first available date currently being the 24th of March at 2pm.
This is all far too tempting for me. The tour is in Rugeley Staffordshire, the day before and just a few miles from Internet Retailing Expo at the NEC in Birmingham. I’ve booked for the Amazon tour (although yet to receive confirmation) and I’ll get a hotel overnight and be at the Expo on Wednesday.
Tamebay day out?
Let’s make it a Tamebay day out – do you fancy a tour of Amazon and then meet up for a few pints on the eve of Internet Retailing Expo? Book a place to tour Amazon’s FBA facility in Rugeley on the 24th and (if they confirm my place) I’ll see you there!
