Royal Mail ZonesInternational Tracked & Signed

Royal Mail is extending its International Tracked & Signed service for businesses and individuals exporting to 10 new countries around the world. From 30th March, customers will be able to track the progress of items sent from the UK to 53 countries worldwide and obtain a signature on delivery.

The new countries are: Spain, Turkey, Cyprus, Serbia, Latvia, Moldova, United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Malaysia and Cambodia.

International Tracked

In addition, Royal Mail will also be adding six new destinations to its International Tracked service, allowing customers to track their items from postage through to delivery in 39 countries worldwide.

The new destinations are: Italy, Turkey, Slovakia, Slovenia, Israel and South Korea.

Enhancements to Despatch Manager Online

Royal Mail has also launched important enhancements to its Despatch Manager Online system which will improve UK and International shipping and labelling processes.

The new enhancements which improve shipping and labelling processes include:

  • Specific language characters for international shipments labels, e.g. Chinese, Japanese and Cyrillic.
  • Ability to produce relevant customs documentation for non-European shipments including CN22/CN23 declaration labels and commercial invoices.

Nick Landon, Managing Director, Royal Mail Parcels, told us: “I am very pleased to announce that we are extending the reach of some of our premium international services to support UK online retailers selling overseas. Our research shows that two thirds (65 per cent) of UK SME online retailers are aiming to increase international sales in 2015. Royal Mail is continuing to respond to the needs of our customers and help them as they seek to attract sales from international markets.”

  1. Thanks for the heads up on this.
For us it’s nice to see Italy on the Tracked list.
We stopped using Tracked and Signed recently and went to Tracked only where possible. We were getting parcels, mostly form the USA, returned as many customers were not available to sign and whatever system USPS have there to let the customer know, didn’t work. In turn we got many INR (Item not received) cases. Of course on Ebay, that’s a defect, the customer is PEEED OFF and so are we that we wasted £7-8 on postage.
