Amazon Prime Video now available on Android

No primary category set

Amazon Prime Video is now operational on Android tablets rather than just Fire ones, according to reports. This will make the video service more widely available and presumably increase the appeal of Amazon Prime which offers the service for free to subscribers.

It is also, of course, operational on iOS platforms.

It’s not a totally whizzy development because you will have to go to Amazon via a web browser to access the video content but it is a leap forward.

On a personal note, my enthusiasm for Amazon Prime Video has been slightly dented recently by the removal of US political drama The West Wing from the library of available shows to watch. Boo.
