Next week we see ChannelAdvisor Catalyst Europe take place at the Hilton London Metropole and for those staying in town Iwoca are holding on of their fantastic Meetup events the evening before in Hammersmith. I’ll be at both events so hope to see you there.
Catalyst EU 2015 23rd April 2015
The ChannelAdvisor Catalyst conference has for many years been the must attend event regardless of whether you’re currently a ChannelAdvisor client or not. Scot Wingo who founded the company will be delivering the opening keynote speech and the rest of the day is packed with must attend sessions.
The agenda is split into three streams: Optimise: Sell Better, Diversify: Cross Channels, and Revolutionise: Think Bigger. No matter your goals, Catalyst will have sessions that fit your needs and you can switch between streams at will to ensure you get the most out of Catalyst for your business.
The UK’s two biggest marketplaces are represented by Marty Ellis, Head of Professional Selling, eBay and Chris Poad, Director, Seller Services, Amazon. A ton of other speakers bring experience from marketplaces around the world including TradeMe, TMall, Rakuten, Newegg and Google.
There will also be speakers from big name retailers such as New Look, Claire’s Accessories and Hotpoint. This year Catalyst closes with Kelly Hoppen of Dragons Den fame.

Iwoca Meetup 22nd April 2015
Iwoca’s famous Online Seller Meetups returns to Hammersmith on Wednesday evening next week. If you’ve attended before make sure you get the right venue, this time it’s being held at the Rutland Arms which two doors up from the old location.
The Meetup is the perfect way to fire up ecommerce discussion prior to Catalyst on the Thursday. Kicking off at 6pm, there’ll be a variety of speakers on hand to help kickstart the conversation and plenty of time for networking and enjoying a few beers, on what will hopefully be a glorious Spring evening in London.
