When eBay and PayPal split up later in the year, they will go their separate ways with two different management teams.
eBay will be headed up by current marketplaces boss Devin Wenig and today he’s announced some new colleagues who will be serving with him on the bridge of the newly independent eBay.
Harry “Hal” Lawton, until recently senior vice president of merchandising at Home Depot Inc., will head up eBay’s North American operations.
Marie Oh Huber, coming from Agilent Technologies Inc., where she’s currently senior vice president and general counsel, will head up legal operations.
And Scott Cutler, vice president for the New York Stock Exchange in charge of global listings, will take the helm as president of StubHub, eBay’s ticket marketplace.
Devin said of the appointments: “I am extremely pleased to welcome Hal, Marie and Scott to the eBay leadership team. Hal is a global commerce expert, Marie is a top public company general counsel, and Scott is an expert in financial services and technology solutions. As we prepare to launch the new eBay, they add strong breadth and depth to my leadership team.”

“As we prepare to launch the new eBay…..” *shudder* more change on the way; would love it to be for the benefit of sellers (and thus ebay), but going by ebay’s track record……

Who will be heading up illegal operations?
so what payment system will ebay use once the split happens?
