Amazon is hiring 500 staff in Dunstable

No primary category set

Amazon is opening a new fulfilment centre in the Bedfordshire town of Dunstable. And they’re looking for 500 warehouse staff for the new 310,000 square foot facility.

Dunstable will be the ninth such shipping centre in the UK. The existing eight others already employ more than 7000 people. The current centres are open at Marston Gate, Doncaster, Peterborough, Rugely, Hemel Hempstead, Swansea, Glenrothes and Gourock.

Chris reported on his visit to the Rugely premises in March.

John Tagawa, Director of UK Operations at Amazon said: “Over the last two years, we have added well in excess of 2000 new employees to our UK workforce. We look forward to our Dunstable centre playing an integral role in providing a first class shopping experience for customers across the UK.”
