We’re hearing from readers and on the Amazon forums (here and here) that FBA orders have been suffering delays today, before they appear in seller’s dashboards.
Tamebay reader Andre tells us “Our FBA orders are shown as pending with an 8-hour delay. No merchant fulfilled or FBA has come through since 9.30am. The first FBA order coming through is marked as bought at 10:15 but was only shown as pending around 18:15“. Andre typically has anything up to 100 orders a day, mostly FBA, so that’s a lot of potentially delayed missing orders.
Hopefully the delays won’t affect sellers too much, but the one undesirable consequence could be overselling, especially if you use Amazon stock to fulfil orders from other marketplaces and websites.
Have you seen any order delays today, or have you had a sudden influx of orders as Amazon catches up?

I’ve not noticed this my end but what I have noticed is that I have received 3 disbursements already this month. Usually I only get a disbursement every 2 weeks, but I have had 3 in the last 3 weeks already, so it looks like amazon may be freeing cash flow for sellers by releasing disbursements more regularly?.
