Mayborn Group, the No. 1 brand of infant and toddler feeding products in Great Britain, is relocating their UK & EMEA serviced logistics operation to Corby, Northamptonshire, where their new fulfilment, reverse logistics and software technology iForce is based.
Mayborn Group, the owner of the tommee tippee brand and sub-brands of Closer to Nature, Sangenic and Explora, is seeking to benefit from increased efficiencies across the supply chain as it continues to evolve from a UK based company to become a truly global business. The move will put the company’s warehouse operations at the heart of its UK customers’ distribution hub and ensure it has a suitable centralised UK location to service its growing European business.
iForce will provide outbound to rebound manufacturing logistics services offering three core logistics propositions, each underpinned by their dedicated software technology; SMART WMS for Warehousing, RESCU for innovative Returns Processing and Route Genie, the Carrier Management system that provides complete control and visibility over the management of carriers and transport providers.
Steve Parkin, Chief Executive, Mayborn Group, said: “Over the past five years we have transformed from a UK-based company to a truly global organisation with 65% of sales now coming from abroad. Therefore, we needed a fulfillment and warehousing solution that matched our plans for sustained growth. iForce’s unrivalled portfolio of software and fulfilment solutions will deliver greater agility and flexibility as we move forward with the next stage of our development”.
Sooner or later most businesses start to outsource some of the service aspects of their operations, whether it be using Amazon FBA, third party label solutions, accounts, or in the case of Mayborn Group their entire logistics needs. One of my favourite all time tools has always been Packing Partner from Aimco Software. What’s the one thing you outsource or use software for that you wish you’d found years ago?

Packing Partner is the BEST bit of software ever invented and Andrew should some sort of award for it. But don’t go telling everyone about it!! Small fulfilment operations like ours would like to keep it a secret.
