PayPal integrates with Bigcommerce

Good news for online sellers using Bigcommerce. PayPal has announced full integration including the “one-touch” service for merchants using the service offering consumers more ways to pay for what they buy online.

As PayPal notes: “Bigcommerce and PayPal are collaborating to enable Bigcommerce’s 90,000 merchants seamless access to an end-to-end ecommerce solution via a single integration with Braintree’s v.zero SDK. In addition, we extended One Touch for web to Bigcommerce merchants, enabling consumers to pay across online stores with a single touch.”

The news came from Dan Schulman, who will be the PayPal CEO after the eBay/Paypal divorce in the next few months. He said: “This convergence has profound implications. It’s not simply about tapping your phone to pay instead of handing over cash or a swiping card. It’s about reinventing how people spend and save, and making it simpler and safer to move and manage money.”
