It’s not often you can buy something directly from Royalty on eBay, even less so from someone who will one day become “Princess Consort” or perhaps even “Queen” alongside Charles when he succeeds the throne.
There’s just one downside to buying from HRH The Duchess of Cornwall however, the only item on offer is the whilst celebrated his second-round win over Robin Haase at Wimbledon on the 2nd July.
The sweat band is currently being safely kept at Clarence House, the London home of TRH The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall and will be posted out to the lucky(?) winning bidder. Camilla is auctioning the sweat band (what on earth would she do with it otherwise?) to raise money for the Royal Veterinary College Animal Care Trust.
This is not your normal celebrity auction with the only value being an authentic piece of memorabilia from one of the best know sporting Scots. It’s a rare and unique opportunity to purchase directly from a future monarch’s wife.
