BoostSuite, the co-marketing platform set up by former iContact Email Marketing co-founder Aaron Hougton, has announced a new integration with the WordPress, just about the most popular blogging platform available.
The integration allows marketers to share blog content with like-minded marketers via their WordPress blogs with just a click of a mouse.
Aaron Houghton said: “There are a few steps required to set it up, but once it’s done, everything is automated from there. When your article trade requests are accepted by partners, or when you accept partner article trade requests, your partner’s content will be instantly posted to your WordPress blog”.
Whether it’s desirable to have automated content posting will depend on how your run your blog. If you’ve just published a high traffic story and a single column blog you may not wish to have another article take the top position on your blog. However if you run a low traffic blog and don’t have a particular publishing schedule then this may not matter… and of course you can simply delay accepting a partner article trade until you’re ready for the content to be published.
