Seko Synergy invest in new Warehouse Management System

They’ve recently invested in new warehouse management software so we asked business owner Gary Rees what changes it’s made and how it will impact his clients.

Gary says “It’s all about the tech as we can’t add any value through putting items in mailer sacks. In this fast moving echo system technology and a progressive attitude is truly the facilitator to success“.

Seko Synergy invested £220.000 in JDA RedPrairie Dispatcher, a Warehouse Management System (WMS) used by used by 81 of the world’s 100 largest retail companies. The benefits for their clients include:

  • High productivity picking with voice, Remote Digital Terminal (RDT scanning guns) or pick to light (light indicators on bays for accurate picking)
  • Exceptional inventory and picking accuracy
  • Optimum space utilisation

  • Flexible and diverse interfacing options
  • Stable platform with four updates per year

The real attraction for Seko Synergy’s clients are the Web Services capabilities consisting of a “web service server” that is built on top of the existing web infrastructure enabling our clients to communicate with WMS through an API. Also an FTP interface is available if web services are not being utilised.

Gary says by offering full integration with their system enables quick and efficient management through one platform. Both clients and there customers benefit from effortless order fulfilment with real time information.
