European mobile payments firm iZettle has won The Deloitte Technology Fast 500 award for the software sector and took second place overall.
Jacob de Geer, CEO and founder of iZettle said: “Finishing the year with the Deloitte Fast 500 award really is the icing on the cake. 2015 has been record breaking for us in several respects.
We were named as a global technology pioneer by the Word Economic Forum, we launched the world’s first free Chip & PIN reader, and launched several additions to our product portfolio, including iZettle Advance, a small businesses financing service. Bring on 2016.”
iZettle beat the likes of Zerto, WorldRemit and Taboola to win the title of software company of the year.
