As part of its commitment to keep sellers at the centre of what it does, in October the crafts and vintage marketplace Etsy announced that it wanted to form a Seller Advisory Board “with the goal of bringing together a group of sellers to provide input about the challenges you face as small business owners and play a key role in shaping the way future decisions are made.”
They received over 600 applications and last week Etsy unveiled the line-up of the tea,. And you can find that here.
So what will the board be doing, Etsy says: “They will work closely with us throughout the year to gather feedback from the community and provide insight on how we can help sellers succeed. They will also work to gather feedback from more than 200 sellers who were invited to join subcommittees of the Seller Advisory Board.”
Clearly instituting any sort of thing like this isa good thing and it will be of interest to see how it goes.
