Debrett’s, in association with The Sunday Times, has carried out exhaustive research among the most significant individuals and institutions in the country to compile a list of the 500 most influential people.
As you’d expect the list is full of the likes of Prince Harry, J.K. Rowling, Sir Elton John, Kate Middleton, Lewis Hamilton, Adele, David Walliams, Eddie Redmayne, Benedict Cumberbatch… we all know these people
However The Sunday Times goes on to say “Influence: it’s not the same as power and it’s certainly not about how much money you have. It’s not about who shouts loudest, or wields the most clout in a negotiation — and its effects can be deep, widespread and long-lasting. There are myriad influences at work on all of us every day: someone, somewhere will be trying to shape our choices, from the brand of coffee we buy to how we vote“.
With that in mind we’re thrilled to announce that our friends Bertie and Adel, the founders of Flubit made the list. They’re not the household names that you’d expect to see, but they’re having an influence on the way that Brits do their shopping and that more than qualifies them. It’s a great achievement and consolidates Flubit’s position as an established force in ecommerce.
Flubit’s offering to online shoppers of lower prices, on almost any product they want to buy, is certainly a great proposition, and merchants benefit from the stream of additional orders without paying fees. Flubit now also provide tailored product feeds to major partner channels, giving merchants access to an even wider audience through their Flubit integration.
Lower down the list was Christopher North, MD of Amazon UK, no other marketplaces made the cut.
A huge congratulations to Flubit who had a record-breaking Christmas, I know we’ll be hearing a lot more from them in 2016 as they build on their success.

Very nice to see. It’s always nice to see a British company trying to compete and doing well. I wish them all the success.
