We’re hearing this morning that there’s a glitch with Amazon leaving sellers unable to manage their inventory on the site.
Amazon have a message saying “We are continuing to work hard to resolve the technical issue impacting Manage Inventory and will provide updates every 30 minutes until the issue is resolved.”
We don’t know if this affects sellers who use third party tools via the API, but would suggest in any case that you don’t do any major inventory updates until the glitch is fixed.
Keep an eye on sales if you have shared inventory on Amazon that’s also selling on other marketplaces or your website so that you’re aware of any over selling. We know that this isn’t particularly useful advice if you’re unable to adjust your Amazon inventory and are crossing our fingers the glitch is fixed soon.
