Mobile payments provide iZettle is consolidating its position as a leader in the European market with an expansion of its services into 7 new countries this week.
The Contactless Pro Chip & PIN Card Reader, which supports Apple Pay and contactless, as well as the iZettle Lite machine, will now be available in Denmark, The Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Finland, Norway and France. iZettle Advance, the company’s lending service, will also open up shop in the 7 new countries.
iZettle CEO and founder Jacob de Geer says: “Small companies have persistently been underserved by the traditional finance industry. We want small companies to thrive, and with iZettle Advance we’re applying the exact same logic as when we started iZettle five years ago, and completely overhauled card payments acceptance for small businesses.”
