On Monday Twitter celebrated ten years of existence. The service which allows people to express themselves in 140 characters has become immensely popular over the last decade and has become a firm part of the world’s cultural life.
I often think that the news media couldn’t live without Twitter now (having been jolly sniffy about it to begin with) because often the things that are said on Twitter these days are reported as news.
