Royal Mail doubles compensation for tracked products

Royal Mail is increasing the compensation it offers customers using its Tracked products from £50 to £100.

The services this applies to are Tracked24, Tracked48 , Tracked Returns24 and Tracked Return48.

This follows other changes that include a new weight limit on Tracked products, increasing the maximum weight to 20kg across the board.

Royal Mail has changed the Tracked48 terms too offering acceptance into its network up until midnight (23:59), all year-round at Mail Centres and Regional Distribution Centres.

Nick Landon, Managing Director Royal Mail Parcels, says: “Our Tracked products are very popular with business customers who want the flexibility to choose a 24 or 48 hour delivery service together with a collection service and later acceptance times that allow them to meet customer expectations. So we are delighted to be increasing the compensation we offer on our suite of Tracked products. We believe this will provide even greater confidence in the products and in our ability to respond to our customers.”
