ZigZag wins award for international returns service

ZigZag Global has won the 2016 Innovation Pitch Off at the World Retail Congress in Dubai. 8 competitors from around the world were shortlisted and ZigZag, which makes taking returns when you’re selling overseas easier, won the unanimous support of the judges.

Judge Daniel Bobroff of FashionTech Ventures said “competition was strong, and judging was a challenge. We asked the retailers in the audience to participate too. This is an extremely tough category with some really interesting new businesses that will shape the future of retail in years to come. We also wanted to give special mention to Sizer, but after considering all the pitches the judges were unanimous in their decision to select ZigZag as the overall winner as we felt ZigZag addresses a real problem for international retailers.”

ZigZag CEO Al Gerrie says that “receiving the award is a great recognition of ZigZag’s commitment to improving returns for retailers and customers globally. We are committed to building the world’s best returns solution and driving innovation. It was a team effort and we are very proud to have been honoured in this way.”

The company helps international ecommerce retailers by providing warehouses all over the world that can be switched on according a retailer’s needs. ZigZag was recognised for being able to improve the customer experience with faster refunds and help retailers get stock back in the supply chain more quickly, turning returns into a revenue stream.
