Parcelforce have introduced a new ‘Quote and Book’ service to make it easier for you to find the best price and service option for a parcel delivery. You can now get a quote; compare delivery options and prices at a glance; check the validity of the postcode entered; and book a collection – all in one place
They used feedback gathered from customer research to create the new function, which combines two separate online services into one.
Better tracking report for Parcelforce
Another recent development is its changes to the way information about tracked items is displayed on the ParcelForce website. The new display includes:
- An easy-to-understand visual display status bar showing where a parcel is in its journey – both in the UK and overseas
- New user-friendly enhanced summary messages explaining the last tracked location of the parcel and next steps
- A new proof-of-delivery signature that is automatically displayed on the same screen when available
- Easy-to-understand, on-screen messaging
